Terms of Service.

01. Service Engagement

By engaging Stack Byte Technologies for web design, development, or digital marketing services, you agree to comply with the terms outlined herein. All projects are initiated based on a specific Scope of Work (SOW) documented in our initial proposal.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any entity that promotes illegal activities, hate speech, or content that violates our internal ethical guidelines.

02. Payment & Financials

Projects typically require a 50% upfront deposit unless otherwise specified in your custom contract. Final files, domain transfers, and live deployment occur only upon receipt of the final balance.

For monthly marketing or maintenance retainers, invoices are issued on the 1st of each month and are due within 7 days. Late payments may result in a temporary suspension of active campaigns or services.

03. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the Client owns the final visual design and frontend code created specifically for their project. However, Stack Byte Technologies retains ownership of any proprietary internal code, pre-existing frameworks, or backend libraries (e.g., custom Laravel packages) used to build the solution.

We reserve the right to showcase the completed work in our professional portfolio and marketing materials unless a specific Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is in place.

04. Revisions & Scope

Each design phase includes two (2) rounds of revisions. Significant changes to the project scope after the SOW has been signed will be billed at our standard hourly rate of $50/hr (USD) or as a separate addendum to the contract.

05. Limitation of Liability

Stack Byte Technologies is not liable for loss of profits, data, or business interruptions caused by third-party services (hosting providers, API outages, or search engine algorithm updates). Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific project phase in question.

06. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for paying for all work completed up to the date of notice. Deposits are non-refundable once design or development work has commenced.
